The role of Injury Management Consultant within Wellbeing Support is responsible for undertaking complex case management and providing high-level advice in regard to workers compensation and return to work arrangements. The role is challenging, but rewarding, and this opportunity will allow you to gain a broad range of experience.
Your day may comprise a range of responsibilities, from providing support and advice to various stakeholders, including managers, employees, and volunteers, and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be working in a collaborative team environment and will bring to the role your high-level interpersonal skills, knowledge, and experience in injury management practices.
Minimum Requirements Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Return-to-Work) or the ability to obtain the qualification. Qualified Injury Management Coordinator (successful completion of training identified by the WorkCover Tasmania Board) or the ability to obtain the qualification. Tertiary qualification(s) in workers compensation claims, injury management, or a related discipline. Pre-Employment Checks The Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion, or transfer. Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.
