About the Role
As an Initiative Lead in our Team, you'll play a key role in helping to coordinate the delivery of Enterprise Wide Climate Risk Platform that spans across multiple technology and business areas across the bank

What will your day look like? As an Initiative Lead, you will:
Set a vision for the initiative to drive high quality outcomes and unity across a large, virtual team of squads  Manage the initiative 'backlog' and retain visibility of delivery within key contributing squads.  Implement the right governance construct and stakeholder reporting for visibility and input to decisions, prioritization and remove roadblocks  Play a key coordinating role across the tribes and tech areas that are critical to the delivery of the initiative  Understand and plan for interdependencies across tech areas and squads ensuring that there is minimal disruption to their ability to complete projected work  Influence timely decision-making to ensure squads are enabled to deliver as effectively as possible  Identify the need for new or additional (temporary) squads to ensure the initiative is successful Deliver major initiatives within specified time periods with a bounded outcome in the context of new ways of working Find the best path for delivery of the initiative that balances overall completion and total investment with minimisation of time to value  What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in leading large scale business and technology change including managing complex stakeholder groups along the journey developing or managing climate or ESG related platforms and associated frameworks  Previous experience in scoping and developing plans for strategic pieces of work  Strong stakeholder engagement, and ability to build relationships – understand the customer, define the problem and develop solutions through their eyes  Strong communication skills and ability to elicit/translate information in a technical/data driven space. Experience in change management - comfortable with uncertainty and have the ability to effectively manage yourself through ambiguity and change  Strong organisational and time management skills Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
