The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advice to the Frasers Property Australia business nationally and will be exposed to a wide range of legal matters throughout the property development lifecycle as well as general corporate matters.
Your legal and commercial expertise helps to protect and enhance our reputation for integrity, ensuring a long-term future for our business and contributing to the trust that our customers and communities hold for our brand.
As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include: Assisting with acquisitions, joint ventures, and disposals Negotiating confidentiality and exclusivity agreements, term sheets and letters of offer Reviewing and negotiating construction, consultancy, supply and property management agreements Advising on marketing issues and review marketing materials Reviewing sales contracts and managing external conveyancers Reviewing commercial and retail leases and AFLs Liaising with internal and external advisor around taxation, FIRB, insurance and other regulatory matters Assisting with post-completion issues and disputes Managing internal approval processes and precedents Providing legal knowledge updates, training and research assistance.
Briefing external legal advisors You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a current practising certificate A minimum of 7 years PQE in Property Development and Real Estate law obtained in mid to top tier law firm or in-house environment Experience with construction and design contracts, consultancy agreements and litigation will be highly advantageous Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, curious and a willingness to learn Don't quite meet every single requirement but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
