About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Audit Manager who is eager to make a meaningful impact in the world of accounting and business advisory services. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and presenting internal audit reports to clients across diverse industries while mentoring and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work.
As the division continues to expand, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing internal audit processes, as well as contributing to the development of the Audit Team Methodology Framework. As part of a small, agile team, this is a hands-on position where you will lead by example—taking on tasks when necessary while also thinking strategically and guiding the team through complex projects and engagements.
Key Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Commerce.CA/CPA/ACCA/CIA qualified or part qualified, or 5+ years of Internal Audit experience in industry or chartered.Big 4 or mid-tier chartered experience is highly desirable.Experience within state, federal, or local government in Australia is advantageous, though candidates with strong experience in other sectors are also encouraged to apply.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptable, self-directed, and a strong team player.Able to work both independently and within a team setting.Australian citizenship is mandatory for this role.Professional services experience in internal audit.Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a supervisory or management role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.Proven ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.This role offers the chance to join a reputable firm where you can advance your career, take on new challenges, and be part of a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
