About the Role
The Construction team at Ingenia is looking for a Project Manager to join the team at Natura, Bobs Farm. Surrounded by nature with a private lake, close to Port Stephens' iconic landmarks and Newcastle's abundant amenities, Natura offers relaxed over 55s living in a truly enviable location. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our Ingenia Lifestyle Community in conjunction with the Development Manager.
Key Accountabilities
Manage and lead the delivery of the project on site Deliver project to specification and ensure work is within quality parameters and meets statutory and company requirements Deliver projects within approved budgets and provide required oversight and inputs to colleagues for financial reporting Manage the Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements for each project under the relevant legislation and within the company systems Assist with the management of the tender process to appoint and manage contractors and sub-contractors including builders, trades and landscapers Coordinate and assist with the handover of each project / stage / dwelling with the Sales and Operations team including defects management Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with all legislative, approval bodies and authorities, e.g. councils, electricity authorities etc Monthly preparation of individual project construction reports including project status and risks, forecasted completion cost against budget, works status program, WH&S About You
Understanding and experience in the construction industry, with a preference of residential volume building Understanding of civil works / infrastructure / services and community facilities Ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Detailed understanding of residential built form construction methodology and processes Strong industry networks and relationships with contractors and trades in the relevant region Ability to liaise with customers during the sales and settlement processes Strong interpersonal skills and contributor to company culture Culture and Benefits
