Job Description This role is pivotal in managing and evolving the Group's IT infrastructure, from physical servers to Azure cloud solutions.
You'll lead a diverse technical team, ensuring robust operations and seamless integration of technology plans.
Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll deliver cutting-edge IT solutions while managing key vendor relationships.
This position balances immediate technical challenges with strategic, long-term planning.
In the role you will Create and manage infrastructure architecture to enhance technology value and efficiency.
Recommend and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of technology capabilities.
Engage in BBA's Architecture Review Board to support architecture and design governance.
Maintain strategic roadmaps and storyboards to articulate business requirements.
Drive modernisation of infrastructure, processes, and practices using industry best practices.
Keep updated on best practices in architecture, software solutions, and systems relevant to IT/Banking.
Ensure infrastructure and systems are secure, up-to-date, and effective, aligned with policies and standards.
Lead in detecting and analysing security incidents and remediating security gaps.
Develop and deliver infrastructure/systems budget plans with senior colleagues' guidance.
Leverage key supplier relationships to ensure robust infrastructure delivery.
Qualifications You will be a strategic and technically adept IT leader, skilled in managing and modernizing complex infrastructure systems.
They excel in driving efficiency, security, and innovation while leading a diverse team and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Their expertise ensures robust, up-to-date, and secure IT operations aligned with organisational goals.
Holds relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications in IT Infrastructure, especially Cloud (Azure).
Over 10 years of experience managing corporate IT Infrastructure.
6+ years in planning, managing, and organizing resources, including team management.
3+ years in IT Infrastructure/Systems Architecture, particularly Cloud.
Extensive technical knowledge and experience in a hybrid internal/vendor-managed model.
Proven ability to support regulated 24/7 business environments.
