Star of the Sea is committed to providing a dynamic learning environment for our students, striving to develop a culture of excellence in a faith-filled, inclusive community.We are seeking an Information Technology Officer to provide ICT system support and leadership to staff and students of Star of the Sea.You will lead the overall operations of our school's network including, but not limited to:Strategic management of the school's Information Technology resources,Information Technology asset management,Leadership and administration of specific projects and strategic support, andUsing tools or systems which automate tasks such as the management, monitoring, scaling, and deployment of applications.You will have strong technical skills and working knowledge of hardware and software applications, ability to lead strategic planning for projects, as well as excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills to resolve issues for staff and students.The successful applicant will demonstrate:A commitment to excellence in the provision of professional services,High level communication skills,A positive disposition and a genuine desire to work in partnership with staff, students and families, andA service focused mindset and ability to support the school in achieving its annual goals.To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; andHave a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.Please note applications for this role may be considered as they are received, and an appointment made prior to the advertised close date.Everyone at Brisbane Catholic Education models and fosters a commitment to the safeguarding of children and promotes a culture where
