This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
The Information Strategy Lead will:
Coordinate information governance capability uplift including Information Asset Custodians and the operationalisation of the Information Steward role.Extend and mature supporting capabilities like Information Asset Lifecycle Management.Oversee the development/updating of key information governance policies, standards and procedures.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure information management policies, processes and people are strategically aligned.Contribute to the IM Strategy refresh.The Information Strategy Lead will work with multi-disciplinary teams within an MSP program and will use a PRINCE2 project management approach for delivery. This is a large, complex initiative and the Information Strategy Lead will be required to work across all levels of the organisation.
This role has the following outcomes/accountabilities:
Successful delivery of nominated IM Program strategic initiatives to agreed parameters, outcomes and schedule.Effective engagement and consultation with program and project team members, business representatives, ICT subject matter experts, suppliers and external government stakeholders to ensure IM policies, processes and people are strategically aligned.Lead the update of the IM Strategy and Roadmap 2021-26 including engaging suppliers and managing the supplier engagement to completion.Design, produce and update a range of strategic IM artefacts in compliance with TMR's governance and project management requirements.Oversee and coordinate a small team of supporting delivery staff for the IM policy instruments and information governance capability uplift initiatives.Regular status monitoring and reporting as per TMR ICT governance requirements.Effective stakeholder management and management of the following: risks and issues, scope, quality, and resources.Role Requirements: 5+ year's demonstrated experience working in a similar strategic capacity on enterprise level IM programs and projects.Demonstrated prior experience in developing strategies and frameworks that are fit for purpose for a large and complex Government Department.Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships to achieve desired outcomes and to maintain strong, productive working relationships.Demonstrated ability to liaise with and build consensus with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a high pressure and changing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.To apply email ****** quoting REF #242215 with a Word format version of your resume.
