Location: Brisbane, Queensland Type: Contract Job #17080 About the role My government client is seeking an Information Architect to support and deliver a contemporary Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution which will replace current legacy applications that support document, records, and correspondence management, and uplift information management capability.
Key responsibilities Design and develop future-state information architecture for the ECM solution including information classifications, taxonomies, labelling, indexing, metadata, code sets, business glossaries/terminology, business rules, and information security classifications and access controls to support the goals of improving organisation, navigation, and discoverability of information.
Analyse current-state information already gathered by the projects and carry out further engagement with key business stakeholders to design and refine future-state information architecture for the ECM solution.
Design future-state information security for the ECM solution addressing users, roles, groups, controls aligning with project in-scope business needs.
Create clear and comprehensive documentation (for example information models/frameworks) that outlines the information architecture and provides guidance and direction for the detailed design and implementation of the ECM solution.
Create and execute detailed workplans with regular status and exception reporting.
Highly desirable criteria 8+ year's proven experience in providing advice, guidance, assurance, and delivery of information architectural designs for large enterprise solutions.
Proficiency with developing greenfield target state information architecture designs including actionable insights and implementation plans to support the target state solution.
Experience with information architecture best practices and methods including relevant Queensland Government architecture strategies, roadmaps, principles, target architecture, policies, and standards.
Demonstrated communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex architectural concepts for audiences without a technical background.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Desirable criteria Previous experience working on transformation projects related to information management, ECM solutions and/or electronic document and records management.
Security architecture experience including cyber/information security.
Experience with the application of emerging Artificial Intelligence capabilities in the field of Information Management.
