super): $162.82 - $211.37 (Dependent upon Year Level) Hours per fortnight: 28 (0.4 FTE) Employment Status: Ongoing Fractional Specialist  Closing date:  12/01/2025 Bendigo Health is seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Infectious Diseases Consultant to join our collegial team, dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of people in our region.
The role collaborates with the Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit and encompasses leadership in clinical governance, service planning, people management, education, research, and direct clinical care.
As an experienced Infectious Diseases Physician with an interest in Public Health, you will contribute to a growing regional tertiary referral hospital, teaching and mentoring interns, HMOs, and registrars while practicing within your scope under Bendigo Health's Credentialing Committee.
The unit is open to negotiating working arrangements but requires the consultant to be available on Thursdays to meet current service delivery needs.

Your New Division The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer, dental and mental health services.
We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.
Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
