The Industry Liaison Coordinator (ILC) has responsibility for coordinating student work placements and overseeing the delivery and assessment of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Unit.
Building robust industry connections through continuous maintenance of the work placement program and collaborating with creative industry studios, businesses, and industry bodies is another core responsibility.
The ILC ensures students receive a comprehensive preparatory program that cultivates their job-seeking and interview skills, enhances their understanding of the creative industries and professional etiquette, and fosters appropriate workplace practices.
The ILC collaborates closely with academic staff to identify students best suited for emerging industry opportunities and to provide campus-wide support for industry engagement initiatives.
It is expected that the ILC will support students and alumni in their transition from student to creative professional.
