Industry Liaison Coordinator Byron Bay, AustraliaAbout the role The Industry Liaison Coordinator is responsible for the management of an effective student and graduate work placement program with leading entertainment businesses and industry organisations. Working closely with the National Manager of Work Integrated Learning and the Byron Bay Campus Manager, the Industry Liaison Coordinator also has a key role in SAE's ongoing engagement with local community and industry.
The person we seek will ideally have the following: Expert knowledge of the local and Australian creative media sectorIndustry experience in at least one SAE area of studyDemonstrable experience in managing work placement programs and/or workplace management of traineesA tertiary qualification in an SAE disciplineExpert knowledge of recruitment and job search processesAn understanding of the way adults learnDemonstrable high-level communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to network effectively with internal and external stakeholdersWhat we can offer you: SAE's collaborative, project-based approach to creative media education provides students with a hands-on, collaborative and industry aligned way to achieve formal qualifications.
