This pivotal role supports the Industry Engagement Coordinator, which will see you build exciting new industry collaborations, implement innovative projects, and create opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience and secure employment. This role contributes to the University's strategic goals and focuses on improving graduate employability outcomes for VU students.This is a full-time continuing position at a HEP 6 classification, salary $85,667 - $92,728 (per annum) plus 17% superannuation, classification working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week.Duties:Some of the duties you are expected to perform are:Act as a liaison between the Employment team and external industry stakeholders and foster new relationships with industry partners.Work with the Industry Engagement Coordinator to share industry opportunities across VU for WIL placements, internships, part-time/graduate roles, or project-based collaborations that align with students' fields of study.Support the delivery cross functional projects and collaborate with other departments to create synergies that benefit new or existing student programs, experiences and support their career growth.Encourage networking, mentoring and connection opportunities between students and industry through the coordination of engagement activities.About You:The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proficiency in building partnerships, relationship management and graduate recruitment.
