THE PROJECT McConnell Dowell is the constructor within the Western Program Alliance (WPA) which forms part of the Victorian State government's ambitious level crossing removal program.
The Alliance brings together the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), V/Line and Arup and Mott MacDonald as design partners.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY McDonnell Dowell are seeking an Industry Capability & Inclusion Administrator to join the Western Program Alliance team at office in Footscray.
This role is ideal for an undergraduate or recent graduate in Finance, Commercial, or Business Management, or someone with a solid background in data analytics or reporting who enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets.
The position requires a commitment of at least 2 to 3 days per week, with flexible hours to accommodate your schedule and commitments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES Drafting content and creating templates to support reporting and data management.
Extracting, cross checking and verifying data.
Analysing and manipulating data for reporting purposes.
Contacting subcontractors to obtain required documentation.
Reviewing subcontractors' performance against their commitments Assist in the creation and preparation of documents, reports, and/or publications relevant to the team's operations.
Working closely with our Commercial team and Industry Capability & Inclusion teams.
ABOUT YOU A keen interest in gaining experience within the construction industry.
Availability to work at least 2 to 3 days per week (Monday – Friday).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment, with strong task prioritisation to meet deadlines.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Proficient in Excel (including skills such as Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc.)
A demonstrated confidence and ability to engage with external parties in person, online, by phone, and via email to collect the required information.
Willingness to travel to project sites across Melbourne.
Hold an Australian Probationary or Full Driver's License with access to reliable transport.
