The role We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will lead and support the development and implementation of our Industrial Relations (IR) strategy and policy framework. You will be responsible for the planning and support of the end-to-end bargaining process for enterprise agreements, from pre-negotiation planning to post-implementation support. Additionally, you will create and update People and Culture policies that align with our strategic vision, and work closely with P&C Business Partners, consultative committees, and working groups to ensure effective communication and implementation of IR initiatives. Lead and support the development and implementation of the IR strategy and policy framework. Project lead the end-to-end bargaining process for enterprise agreements, including pre-negotiation planning, coordination, and support of negotiation meetings. Create and update People and Culture policies that align with our strategic vision. Work closely with P&C Business Partners, consultative committees, and working groups to ensure effective communication and implementation of IR initiatives. Provide expert advice on employment laws, enterprise agreements, and policy compliance. About you A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or Law is preferred, with a strong understanding of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels within the organisation, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Skilled in negotiating mutually agreeable solutions with internal stakeholders, employees, and unions, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities under pressure. Proven experience in building relationships and working collaboratively in a People and Culture environment, with expertise in interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and negotiating with unions.
