Industrial Electrician - Up to $60/hr + Super + Car AllowanceWorkfast is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to join the team servicing the Sydney and NSW region, full-time paying $50-$60/hr + Super + OT.
Our client is a long-standing business specializing in Engineering Solutions, offering various services within Risk Assessment, Predictive & Preventive Maintenance, and Asset Management.
This role joins the Electrical Team across the Sydney and NSW region, servicing high-rise buildings in Sydney CBD, some regional sites within NSW, as well as Infrastructure. The role involves 50% on the road, field-based, and 50% in the office for reporting.
The rate of pay ranges between Up to $60 per hour + Super, depending on experience, + OT + Tax Free $12k Car Allowance.

Level 1.Minimum 2 years proven electrical maintenance/reliability-based experience within heavy industry.Sound understanding of Motors, Switchboards, and other related (LV/HV) plant.Previous use of diagnostic equipment for testing and inspection.Analytical and commercial reporting skills, using both vendor software and MS Office.Knowledge of operating and safety procedures and permit requirements applicable to testing electrical equipment.Building and maintaining customer relationships (internal & external).Valid Driver's Licence.What you will be doing: Predictive and Preventive maintenance techniques - diagnose problems in industrial plant and write reports with recommendations, covering Industrial Switchboards, Electric Motors, and HV insulation systems.Be prepared to travel locally along with extended travel (as required), intrastate, and interstate.Plan/schedule/co-ordinate jobs with customers and internal administration personnel.Provide prompt and accurate technical support to customers and measure performance against set KPIs.Prepare documents in accordance with the Integrated Management System (IMS).Prepare and undertake Client Training (as required).Conduct technical research.Design and assemble electrical components, i.e., Enclosures and cables.Identify new product and service opportunities whenever possible.Ensure customer satisfaction, review practices and reports, create/modify accordingly.Adapt to customer circumstances and be flexible in work practices.Correct & timely administration duties and general housekeeping including timesheets.Cooperation and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.Maintain and develop task manuals.About us: Workfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
