An interest in plants and horticulture is necessary, applicants with qualifications in horticulture will be highly regarded, but not necessary - if you have the want to learn more about caring for plants, we offer full training to all new employees to ensure they succeed.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator as a part of the maintenance team you will be responsible for providing exceptional plant care and maintenance across various businesses and office locations whilst consulting with the client as required to ensure their needs are understood and met.

What will you be doing in your role at Frenchams? Plant scaping management including regular visits to client's sites to monitor and address watering requirements, dusting/cleaning of plants and planters, trimming, placement, and treatment for fertilisation and pest control.Assessing the condition of plants, organising selection and replacement of deteriorated plants taking into consideration the environmental conditions of the site and the clients' expectations.Organising routine service schedules to attend the customer base allocated with your fortnightly scheduled run.Liaising with professional clients in relation to their requests, questions and complaints and ensuring their expectations are met and followed up in a timely manner, keeping notes on all relevant interactions.Administration requirements will be required, including but not limited to OHS inductions and audits, emails and updating run sheets and timesheets. What you will need to succeed in the role. A passion for indoor plants and customer service.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.Horticulture experience is a definite advantage – but not required. Neat and tidy personal appearance and presentation always.You are a self-starter with a proven ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to problem solve and prioritise with the ability to be flexible as needed.A degree of physical fitness – this is an active role with many hours spent on your feet as well as lifting plants, watering equipment and the use of ladders.Basic computer skills with the ability to use standard office software – email, word and excel.A current and valid drivers licence along with a safe driving history is mandatory for this role.A national police clearance will be required for successful applicants.Strong commitment to Safe Work practices.
