Looking for a sea change? In this role you will plan and coordinate the facilities management of a shopping centre. Ensure efficient operation of the physical aspects, creating and sustaining a safe and functional environment for the occupants.
This is a diversified Australian property development company. It has business in shopping centres, residential estates, industrial estates and manufactured housing communities.
Position Description: Assume responsibility for the operation and presentation of the asset(s). Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgets. Co-ordinate capital works including tenancy delivery and small projects. Contribute to performance reporting requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with all the key asset stakeholder groups with a customer centric focus as it relates to tenants. Develop and maintain appropriate industry relationships. Ensure the asset always remains fully compliant and manage remedial actions within the determined timeframes. Including, but not limited to, annual fire certification, vertical transport, cooling towers, roof safety, WH&S and plant registration where applicable. Co-ordinate and drive improvement programs to optimise the asset(s) waste and energy, and water usage. Manage asset(s) WH&S practices and ask questions of employees and contractors, when visiting projects and properties and document them. Position Requirements: Extensive Facilities Management or Operations Management experience Proven experience in customer service and managing effective relationships with commercial tenants. Experience in managing budgets, purchase order creation and contracts administration. Exposure and understanding of maintenance planning principles and methodology Diploma of Facilities/Project Management/ or trade qualified will be highly regarded Application requirements: Candidate will be screened by IWS and will need to apply through IWS link
