Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.
Hume has an open enrolment policy so educates children from many faiths and with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities. In 2025, the School will have 2,960 students and employ some 290 staff - 195 teaching and 95 non-teaching. About the Role:
Hume now calls for applications for the position of Daily Organiser and Administration Officer. This role is full-time (1.0 FTE), ongoing, and will be based at our Kalkallo campus, starting at the beginning of the 2025 academic year.
The role will be split into two positions:
Daily Organiser (0.4 FTE) Administration Officer (0.6 FTE) The Daily Organiser is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the daily routines of the School, coordinating, managing and monitoring short-term cover for teacher absences. The Daily Organiser also manages duty rosters to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to supervise students outside of class time and maintains the school calendars, coordinating significant events and the use of classrooms and other common facilities.
The Administration Officer position plays a pivotal role in the organisation of the Administration office. Upholding the highest standards of customer service, the Administration Officer displays a high level of integrity and trust, representing the School with self-confidence and sensitivity. They act as consummate ambassadors when dealing with visitors and members of the school community, promoting a culture of mutual respect and encouragement.
Requirement of the Role:
Experience working in a role with similar duties. Excellent organisational skills, planning, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work in a high pressure workplace with proficiency in managing competing demands. High level communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to provide excellent customer service to build rapport with staff, visitors, parents, and students. How to Apply:
