Independent Assessors  Remote Work Casual 12 Month Contract Our Federal Government client is looking for independent Assessors for an initial 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities: Provide detailed and constructive feedback to clients or stakeholders based on assessment findings.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards in all assessments.
Manage your own schedule to meet deadlines while ensuring quality assessments.
Collaborate with internal teams or clients when required to clarify assessment criteria or process.
Contribute to continuous improvement by providing insights or recommendations based on assessment outcomes.
Key Capabilities: commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Demonstrated understanding of the impact of colonisation and forced removals on Indigenous social and emotional well-being.
Demonstrated high level of cultural capability or the ability to develop understanding the cultural context and the impacts of past events, policies and programs.
Baseline security clearance or the ability to gain obtain and maintain.
Have a home/business office to work from with stable internet connection that has sufficient broadband to video conference.
Broad experience following the principles that underpin good case management: client-centred, holistic and strengths-based, goal oriented, flexible, collaborative, culturally and socially safe, evidence informed, respectful of an applicant's right to privacy while actively working to avoid re-traumatisation.
Refined interpersonal skills with the ability to contextualise to suit your audience in a logical, empathetic, effective and individual manner using culturally appropriate language.
Evidenced strong analytical skills, with a significant understanding of the context in which historical records were created and the sensitive details contained in those records which can be harmful or upsetting.
Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive case management records, ensuring application determination completeness and reporting on progress.
