The specific responsibilities for this function are:
Providing advice and supporting policy and procedure implementation on Incident Management activities to Special Operations Command headquarters and Units.Reviewing and updating Incident Management Directive annually.Arranging the development and issue of any supporting Incident Management policies, procedures and best practice guidance.Ensuring that Incident Management training is available and suitable to meet the needs of Special Operations Command.Seeking efficiencies and implementing change to improve Incident Management across Special Operations Command.Liaising with Army headquarters, other functional commands and departments on Incident Management matters.Trending and analytics for Incident Management weekly to inform Senior Leadership Group and quarterly to inform Special Operations Command Board.Managing the Information and Records Manager position, including oversight of information and records management for Special Operations Command headquarters.Managing the Unit Security Manager position, including oversight of security management for Special Operations Command headquarters.Understudy the Administrative Commanding Officer.About our Team
The APS 6 Incident Manager works in the Administration and Coordination Cell of Special Operations Command headquarters. The Administration and Coordination Cell provides a range of information and records management, security, registry, administrative and coordination support and incident management advice to the executive, headquarters key appointments, Special Forces Group headquarters and regiments.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
Knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of the Defence ERP Case Management Solution.Ability to apply knowledge of relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures to ensure analysis is relevant to the Special Operations Command context.Contribute to Incident management planning and policy development for the Special Operations Command headquarters and pan command for Special Forces Group Regiments.Experience in preparing reports.Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, elicit advice and provide relevant information.Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities.Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 2".
