About the role. This role will lead projects, develop and implement new visual brand communication concepts and initiatives across the business and in-store. To improve customer's experience in-store in-line with brand values to drive sales. This role also provides direct communication to stakeholders for brand identity and in-store communication standards to ensure the brand integrity of customer's in-store experience.
The In-store Communications Lead is also responsible for ensuring visual communication concepts are customer centric, on brand, deliver the relevant business outcomes required and signed off before implementation.
Led by the In-store Communications Manager, this role provides direction and guidance to its own direct reports, overseeing the development of in-store communications for range reviews, new sites and stores, campaign material and more.
What's involved: Liaising with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
Managing project schedule, resources and information
Ensure stakeholder, customer and business needs are met as projects evolve
Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
Execute brand communication initiatives to improve customer's in-store experience to drive sales
Collaborate with store development, visual merchandise, merchants and suppliers to produce and execute customer centric communication systems in-line with brand guidelines to drive sales including; navigation, inspiration, education (D.I.Y.), product delineation, product differentiation and service messages
Provide ongoing support and feedback on performance to team
Develop and provide mentoring to the team
Communicate brand standard amendments to all relevant stakeholders to ensure consistency of customer experience in-store.
Who we're looking for: Our ideal candidate will bring a good understanding of signage, design principles and customer communication through physical assets as well as design knowledge such as 3D design, brand design, brand engagement and building design.
Other capabilities include consumer empathy & insights experience, proven experience in communications, campaign planning, delivery, and execution.
You'll need: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or project coordination/ management role
Understanding of digital ecosystems and how they interact with the physical environment
Experienced retail marketer with solid understanding of brandmanagement
Knowledge of all marketing channels and measuring the effectiveness of communications
Ability to work in a matrix structure & foster collaborative ways of working
Leadership experience with management and teamdevelopment experience
High skill in stakeholder management, relationship building andinfluencing skills
Skilled in visual & written design execution.
