In-House Legal Counsel - Corporate M&A Lawyer - ASX Listed Organisation Become part of a leading ASX-listed financial services organisation that is currently experiencing substantial growth.In this role, you will report to the Head of Legal and be responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of matters. Your responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, supporting strategic M&A initiatives, and providing clear and effective legal guidance on a diverse range of issues.Key Responsibilities:Supporting strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including legal advice and support for M&A transactions.Offering regulatory advice and aiding in the implementation of compliance initiatives.Providing company secretarial and corporate governance support.Negotiating and drafting various commercial contracts, including IT contracts, leases, and service agreements.Assisting with the negotiation and management of group financing arrangements and shareholders' agreements.The Successful Candidate:At least 3 years post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial work gained either within a strong top or mid-tier law firm or similar in-house role.Experience in taking and writing minutes, summarising discussions, and writing reports.Experience/knowledge of the general insurance industry is desirable.Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and negotiation skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
