Your expertise with Expedient software (a bonus) and deep understanding of international logistics will drive operational efficiency and contribute to the company's success. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing freight forwarding business committed to innovation and superior service.
Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end import and export operations using Expedient, from order creation to shipment completion.Lead and optimise import/export processes, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.Prepare and verify detailed import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support, shipment updates, and issue resolution.Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Identify areas for operational improvement and implement projects to enhance efficiency, including updating SOPs.Stay informed on international trade regulations and ensure all activities comply with legal and company standards.You will have: Minimum of 4 years' experience in import/export operations within freight forwarding or warehousing.Expedient software experience a bonus.Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures.Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.High sense of responsibility and ownership, with a focus on performance excellence.Shape global trade!
