Perth CBD Flexible work arrangements available We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Perth team in the role of the Coatings and Insulation Technical and Support Manager. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of technical support, overseeing the prioritisation, and planning of tasks, as well as managing cost control and reporting.
The Coatings and Insulation scope at our Darwin LNG facility is challenging, and high priority for INPEX, and this role is certain to be well supported and highly rewarding.

This role offers a flexible work arrangement, providing the option for either part-time (0.8) or full-time hours.
Key responsibilities include: Guidance and Mentorship : Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to support their continuous development and career growth. Innovation : Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and safety within the team. Technology Development : Lead the development of new technologies for the Coatings and Insulation (C&I) and Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) programs, including approval of new technologies and standards as needed. Stakeholder Management : Manage stakeholders to ensure C&I work is clearly defined, aligned, assessed for risk, and prioritized according to business objectives. Strategic Planning : Contribute to the development of multi-year rectification plans, prioritized by risk and in compliance with overall operations planning requirements, with input from all stakeholders. Process Improvement : Develop and implement efficient engineering and technical assessment processes. Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaboration : Work with execution, quality, and inspection stakeholders, as well as product development contractors, to introduce cutting-edge technologies. Oversee all technology development from concept to approval and execution. Successful candidates will: Possess a Degree or Diploma level qualification in an Engineering or Maintenance related discipline. Have Project Management experience, preferred but not essential. Demonstrate proven experience in operations and maintenance, including field execution on large onshore gas production facilities. Show a good understanding and operational awareness of Australian regulations and regulators. Display strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for fostering teamwork, collaboration, and inclusivity. Demonstrate a commitment to understanding diverse cultures and promoting a collaborative, respectful work environment. This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Perth.
