18-month maximum term contract – salaried role Role is based in North Adelaide Enjoy working in a well-kept environment, with a caring and supportive team to surround you.Talent International are proud to be partnering with The Lutheran Church of Australia on this exciting 18-month maximum term contract.This is a brand-new role that has been created to work on a payroll software replacement project.The preferred candidate for this role will have relevant experience working in an environment that can be transferrable to payroll or the likes.Keep reading to find out a bit more about your newest opportunity!About the Company The Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) is part of a global Christian community of over 70 million people.Lutheran churches, schools and aged- and community-care services are located throughout Australia and New Zealand.At the LCA head office, you'll be joining a team passionate about living and sharing Jesus' message of love.LCA's head office is currently located in North Adelaide with onsite parking.They offer a supportive and rewarding work environment where you can make a real impact in the Lutheran Church community.Position Summary The Lutheran Church of Australia seeks a dedicated and experienced Project Manager – ICT to lead and manage ICT projects.The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality standards.The Project Manager will coordinate team efforts and manage stakeholders to deliver projects aligned with the church's mission and strategic goals.Objective of position The Project Manager – ICT leads and manages the risk, quality, and progress of ICT projects to organisational standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.The role also leads the adoption of project management methodologies, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches to meet the project deliverables.As a Project Manager you will demonstrate the following skills and experience : Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the successful execution of projects.Monitor and track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are managed.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project issues and obstacles creatively and effectively.Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities while maintaining focus on key objectives.Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience managing ICT projects, preferably within a not-for-profit or church organization.Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar certification is highly desirable.Experience with project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).Required qualifications, skills, and qualities.If you are interested in being considered for this position, please Apply Now.Alternatively, if you would like to have a chat about the role – I would love to hear from you.Please contact Taliya on (08) 8228 1570.
