Job DescriptionDevelop and implement procurement strategies for ICT software and hardware that align with the company's goals and objectives.Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate the technology needs of various business units.Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.Manage supplier relationships, including performance assessments and risk management.Monitor market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved performance.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement.Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff. The Successful ApplicantProfessional certification in procurement e.g. CIPS, is highly desirable.Proven experience in ICT procurement, with a focus on software and hardware for business operations and enterprise technology.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in procurement software and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
