About the RoleAs the ICT Operations - Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to maintain and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and services.
You will manage the performance of IT operations, ensuring that systems, applications, and networks are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
Formal Qualifications/Technical skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or extensive equivalent experience at the same or similar level within a large, complex and rapidly changing organisation with specific focus on one or more of the key accountabilities (i.e.
ICT management and ICT operations, etc.
).Demonstrated strategic management and leadership skills in driving people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex environment, particularly in the application of ICT service management and ICT operations best practice.Excellent time management skills and proven ability to deliver operations on time and within budget.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional internal and external client relationships including with vendors.ITIL certification preferred or the ability to attain within 3 months.Experience Substantial experience in a senior Operations Manager role within a large and complex, multi-site environment.Demonstrated experience in leading an ICT service desk, business applications and infrastructure teams operating within a structured ICT environment.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
