Our valued client, ECS Technolab, is looking for a passionate and skilled ICT Manager with extensive experience in a corporate environment and over 5 years of professional expertise. The position is based in Adelaide, South Australia, and Geelong, Victoria. The ICT Manager should excel at tackling complex challenges and creating elegant solutions. The role includes planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating the acquisition, development, maintenance, and utilisation of computer and telecommunication systems within a dynamic and innovative team in Australia.

The annual salary is $125,000 to $135,000 plus superannuation.
Your Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement ICT strategies to support organisational goals. Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the organisation. Lead ICT teams, including IT specialists, developers, and support staff. Supervise ICT staff, including performance management, training & development and workforce planning. Plan, execute, and oversee ICT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Manage risks and resolve issues that arise during project execution. Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of ICT systems and networks. Ensure the security and integrity of ICT systems to protect data and operations. Manage the relationship of strategic partnerships with ICT hardware, software and third-party service vendors. Negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and services. Oversee the implementation and performance of Managed Services, including infrastructure, network, and application support, ensuring compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Coordinate incident management and resolution, minimising downtime and service interruptions. Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance. Manage budgets for ICT operations, optimising costs while maintaining service quality. Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical business units. Ensure ICT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards. Develop policies and procedures for ICT use within the organisation. Monitor system performance to ensure efficient operation. Analyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement. Skills and Qualifications: Must be proficient in system administration, networking, software development, or cybersecurity. Possess strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. Should have familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields. Should hold certifications like ITIL, PMP, or relevant vendor certifications can be beneficial. Should have at least five to eight (5-8) years of experience as an ICT Manager or similar role. Summary of role requirements: Flexible hours available.
