About the Role:
We have a rewarding opportunity available for a Business Analyst to join our ICT Services team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to.
Tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in delivering ERP and CRM applications including migration and integration in complex environments.
Lead investigative work to identify and define business requirements for ICT projects.
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, gaining agreement on conclusions and recommendations.
Contribute to the achievement of key project milestones, including Material Releases and Capability documentation.
Experience in driving organizational and cultural change and knowledge of change management principles particularly in a technical environment.
Develop functional specifications and system design documents to guide the development of ICT to improve efficiencies.
Evaluate business processes and system performance to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose effective improvements and best practices.
Analyse and document existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Analyse business requirements and apply critical thinking skills to support the identification of potential solution options and develop solution assessment criteria for the evaluation of identified solution options.
Conduct meetings to collect detailed business requirements from stakeholders and users.
Experience/Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security capability improvement initiatives in line with recommended frameworks.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a Cyber Security or IT environment.
A solid grasp of SIEM tools for Information Assets Monitoring and a thorough understanding of the ACSC's Essential 8 and ISM are crucial.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience facilitating workshops for large stakeholder groups and ability to synthesise input into requirements.
Experience producing artefacts such as business cases, submissions, user journeys, process maps, functional decomposition models, user stories, test cases.
