About Corporate ServicesThe Corporate Services team includes human resources, procurement, payroll, business operations and digital and technology services.
It helps the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries to reach its mission to enable dynamic and inclusive communities and support the WA economy through effective regulation and the facilitation of outstanding sporting and cultural experiences and opportunities.
About the roleAre you passionate about managing ICT assets and ensuring they are efficiently handled throughout their lifecycle?
We are seeking a dedicated ICT Asset Officer to join our team!
We have one permanent, full time (75 hrs p/f) position available as ICT Asset Officer. In this role, you will track and manage computing hardware assets and software licensing, ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and value for money is realised.
What we're looking for:Experience in ICT asset inventory and lifecycle management.Experience and knowledge of software licensing schemes and management practices.Ability to research, analyse, plan and solve problems to achieve organisational goals.Good written communication skills for preparing clear reports, presentations, and technical documents.Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts and build relationships with stakeholders.Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage workload, and handle multiple projects with attention to detail.Applicants with knowledge of government procurement processes and/or certification in ICT Industry framework (e.g.
ITIL) are strongly encouraged to apply.
