Position Overview: The Property Manager – SDA will oversee all aspects of property and tenancy management for the organisation's SDA portfolio. This includes managing tenancy applications, approvals, vacates, and ongoing tenancy support. The role will also involve liaising with investors regarding property maintenance, addressing vacancies, and ensuring that all properties meet compliance standards and participant needs.
Key Responsibilities: Tenancy Management: Oversee the entire tenancy lifecycle, including applications, approvals, renewals, and vacates. Manage ongoing tenancy relationships to ensure a high standard of participant satisfaction. Address tenancy-related issues promptly and professionally, maintaining clear and open communication with participants. Coordinate and manage tenancy agreements in compliance with SDA regulations and standards. Property Maintenance: Ensure all properties are well-maintained and meet compliance and safety standards. Liaise with investors and maintenance teams to address property issues, ensuring timely resolutions. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate repairs or improvements as required. Monitor and manage preventative maintenance schedules to reduce long-term costs and enhance property quality. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for investors regarding property performance, maintenance, and vacancies. Collaborate with participants, support coordinators, and families to ensure housing solutions meet their needs. Work closely with internal teams, including finance and compliance, to streamline operations and maintain high service standards. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all properties and tenancy processes comply with SDA and NDIS regulations. Maintain accurate records of tenancy and property management activities. Provide regular reports to management and investors, including updates on vacancies, tenancy issues, and property conditions. Identify opportunities to improve tenancy management processes and participant outcomes. Stay informed about industry trends, SDA regulations, and best practices to enhance service delivery. Key Selection Criteria: Relevant qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field. Proven experience in property or tenancy management, preferably within the disability or SDA sector. Knowledge of SDA and NDIS compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on participant-centric service. Experience working with participants, families, and support coordinators in the NDIS framework. Familiarity with property management software and systems. Background in liaising with investors or property owners. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively. Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for participants and investors. Current drivers' license and willingness to use own or private vehicle. National Criminal Record Check.
