Overview: Competitive daily rate of up to $1,030 per day.Opportunity to deliver high-impact projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.Brisbane CBD location, hybrid onsite / WFH (no fully remote available)We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with strong commercial experience to deliver multiple IT projects concurrently for an iconic, QLD based organisation. This role will require exceptional leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
Key projects may include: Upgrading an Oracle Fusion Financial System.Integrating a Document Management System.Implementing an Operational Technology System.Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and deliver multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies where necessary.Lead cross-functional teams, including internal resources and external vendors, to deliver projects successfully.Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.Oversee vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations as required.Drive post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects, ideally within software-focused domains.Commercial experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Demonstrated expertise in delivering software projects.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent).Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or a related field.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
