St Stephen's School is a Catholic primary school with an enrolment of 500 students. Visit our school website for more about us. We are seeking a part-time I.T Officer to mainly assist with day-to-day troubleshooting across the school.
Tasks may include the following: IT Systems Support:Troubleshooting ICT issues, diagnosing faults and arranging for repairs.Actively supporting and monitoring the use of school ICT equipment for staff and students.Performing proactive maintenance on ICT equipment.Audio Visual Systems Support:Troubleshooting any classroom projector and sound issues.Actively supporting and monitoring the use of school AV equipment for both staff and visitors including various connections to projectors in classrooms.Supporting staff at times during assemblies in the hall.Maintaining the networked PA system that allows announcements and bells to be played.Education Systems Support:Actively support teachers in making full use of IT systems such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, OneNote etc. to enhance teaching and learning outcomes for students. This may involve running training sessions for staff and students when needed.Promote and support other tools and resources for teaching staff to support educational outcomes.Assist with student device management, password resets and retrieval, Wi-Fi connections and general support functions.To be eligible to be considered for this role you will: Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment;Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.Have a commitment to Safeguarding.The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
