Manage complex HVAC and Mechanical construction projects in Darwin!Your new companyOur client, a successful company specialised in HVAC and Mechanical services, is recruiting a talented Project Manager to work on the delivery of various projects, within the Commercial, Industrial and Defence sectors.Your new roleAs a Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the design, procurement, and construction phases of the projects to ensure completion in accordance with the Client's requirements, within the agreed timeframe and budget. You will be the point of contact for the client and represent the company in all dealings. This is a permanent full-time position based in Darwin.Your key responsibilities will be:Manage the tender submission process including negotiation with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.Coordinate the design development with consultants, ensuring project specifications are achieved.Develop the project plan and construction schedule.Prepare the project cost estimation and forecasting in conjunction with the Construction Manager.Manage the project procurement including subcontractor labour and materials.Oversee and manage the construction team and subcontractors to ensure the projects are delivered within agreed cost and schedule, according to quality and safety standards.Liaise with the clients and provide regular project reporting.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will have:Significant experience working in HVAC and Mechanical construction projects, coming from a Technician or Mechanical Engineering background.Previous experience in HVAC project or site management in Commercial or Industrial construction is desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent time-management and organization skills.Ability to travel and work in remote sites when required.What you'll get in returnYou will join a skilful and dynamic team in a successful company and lead multiple complex HVAC and Mechanical projects with the opportunity to live and work in Darwin.
