Our Northern Territory based client is looking for a Project Lead to lead a high-profile multi-year multi-million-dollar Education project for 12 months.
About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for:
Ensuring the successful management and delivery of high value, highly complex business systems projects focusing on solution design, delivery and implementation.
The oversight and management of a project team with close consultation and coordination with all stakeholders and subject matter experts to implement business requirements and priorities to deliver solutions which achieve agreed business outcomes.
Prioritising human-centered principles to ensure that the solutions meet the needs and expectations of diverse stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in:
Successfully implementing a multi-year, multi-million dollar IT transformational project in a complex enterprise environment.
Project management with emphasis on strong project governance, planning and control, risk and issue management.
Championing human-centered design principles throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Strong leadership and change management skills with experience in end-to-end delivery of significant business system and complex business change projects.
Business requirements gathering, analysis, problem solving and coordination.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills for team management and strong stakeholder engagement with ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels.
Building, managing and leading high-performance teams to deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.
Knowledge and utilisation of Prince2 project management methodology is preferred.
Formal qualifications in Project Management, IT or similar.
Education experience is desirable.
The successful candidate must be prepared to live and work in Darwin for the duration of the contract.
