We are currently seeking a motivated and driven HV Electrical Technician to join the team in Emerald, Central Queensland reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Asset Manager. A flexible time roster of 12 days on and 9 days off is available for the right candidate able to do FIFO from Brisbane.

All site works, including preventative maintenance program, corrective maintenance, project works, or other tasks as assigned by Operations and Maintenance Asset ManagerReplacement of key components, such as module and inverter componentsMaintenance of inverters and associated electrical componentsConfiguration of datalogger and communication equipmentPromptly locate, respond to, and execute necessary repairs of faulty equipmentTimely documentation of each site visit and works performed using supplied frameworkCarry out due diligence site and paperwork inspectionsCarry out necessary and appropriate additional work and retrofitting for PV installationsInterface with, and management of subcontractors and other workers on site, including site inductions, daily pre-start meetings, on-site civil works, etcContinuous reporting of work status and scheduling to Site Manager and Operations and Maintenance Asset Manager, including complete and detailed documentation of all work performed, involving daily time tracking and use of CMMSWHS reporting and adherence to WHS protocols as established by the site policy. About you: Proven experience efficiently executing tasks as defined by a maintenance planA valid Electrical Qualification for performing all electrical works relevant to Solar Farms and the respective Australian stateA valid QLD Driver's LicenceRelevant Safety Certifications, including White CardValid First Aid & Low Voltage Rescue / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (LVR/CPR) accreditationHV Switching certificate (desirable)Must be a permanent Australian resident with rights to work in AustraliaStandard computer and application skillsWe think like our customers and genuinely care about the work we do.
