Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)CRA is a dynamic, South Australian-owned and operated business. Over the past few years, CRA has experienced unprecedented growth, which has seen it establish itself as a builder of choice within the Insurance Repair Industry in SA, NSW, and Victoria.We are seeking an experienced HR individual to join our team and can be flexible for the right person, with the option of a part-time or full-time (30 – 37.5 hrs/week) work pattern over 4 – 5 days (Monday through Friday). The role will work in our existing HR team of two, ensuring our Human Resources activities are completed to a high standard. We seek a qualified Human Resources officer with industrial relations/employment law knowledge. Amongst other responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have the knowledge base to inform policy development and assist with strategic guidance around staff management. This role is based on an understanding of legislation and Acts, and the ability to apply them effectively in relevant contexts.The role will engage closely with our staff body and collaborate with the HR team to effectively support the Human Resources strategic objectives and cultivate a positive culture at CRA.The RoleThis position, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, will work with our established HR team to fulfil the below duties:Review, refine and distribute internal Policies and Procedures.Keep abreast of changes and updates to best practices, Acts, relevant legislation, and other employment law concepts within the context of the business.Monitor and track staff and company compliance in line with legislation and supplier requirements e.g., Police checks, WWCC, minimum standards etc.Maintain compliant Human Resources records and collate data for internal and external reporting.Work collaboratively to assist in scheduling, delivery and cyclical reporting of HR activities including staff training, performance reviews and employee engagement surveys.Work collaboratively with Team Managers to manage rosters, leave and flexitime requests.Support recruitment and retention activities including staff induction, onboarding and offboarding.Provide support with the rollout of HR-related initiatives, projects and employee education sessions.Assist with payroll as needed.About YouEssential: minimum of a Bachelor of Human Resources degree, or a Cert IV with demonstrated experience.Essential: A sound understanding of relevant legislation governing Human Resources in South Australia. A knowledge base for the Victoria and New South Wales systems is an advantage.Highly skilled in working with a range of software, portals and technologies.Possess a pro-active, 'can-do' attitude, and ability to be adaptable with, and capable of handling a variety of tasks as they arise each day.Confident and humble disposition with a positive attitude towards facilitating change management.Strong communication skills and a consultative, empathetic approach when working with our diverse staff body.Commitment to lifelong learning and an ability to effectively communicate education activities to others to support their personal and professional development.A want to take pride in your work, enjoy your day, and thrive in a team environment.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.The ability to work to instruction at times, whilst also being able to work autonomously.What's on offerExcellent salary package (depending on experience) plus superannuation.Family friendly, flexible workplace.Paid mandatory training and additional 'Staff training and development' program + fund.Staff and family Employment Assistance Program to support health and wellbeing.
