The successful candidate will have the chance to manage HR activities, oversee volunteer programs, and contribute to staff training initiatives.
What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Officer, you will be integral in ensuring smooth HR operations across the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Director - Operations & Finance, you will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, implementing HR procedures, coordinating performance reviews, and overseeing the offboarding process for all employees. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the organisation's volunteer program. Your contribution will directly impact the success of one of Australia's largest arts festivals.
Supervision of the Senior Operations Coordinator, AFL Sports Ready Trainees, and the Volunteer CoordinatorManage recruitment processes and provide support to hiring managers through finding and filtering candidates, offering necessary resources, creating contracts, and ensuring consistency throughout the recruitment process.Maintain daily operations of the HRISResearch and implement HR procedures and processes to improve service delivery.Manage organisation-wide training and development opportunities.Develop, implement, review, and maintain policies based on legislation requirements and business needs.Coordinate performance appraisal/review process between leaders and team members.Manage offboarding process for all employees.Oversee maintenance of volunteer records/databases/files.What you bring:
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in a similar human resources role. You will possess knowledge of HR, WHS, general operations, and volunteer management. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor or Diploma degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (desired)Proven experience in a similar HR role focused on recruitment and employee life cycle management.Dedicated to providing outstanding people experiences.Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to deal with diverse backgrounds.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines concurrently.Experience working in an environment requiring confidentiality.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.Why join the Adelaide Fringe?
