We are looking for a Human Resources Officer to join our team. The role supports both the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the National Convention Centre Canberra.
We offer a flexible work environment and are open to filling this role as either full time or part time.
This is a fixed term 12-month position to cover maternity leave.

Empowering our colleagues through our IHG HR initiativesSupport the HR Manager in providing coaching and advice for performance management, industrial relations and hotel policySupporting Responsible Business initiatives, including the Work, Health and Safety CommitteeTimely and accurate planning, recording and tracking of activities across the colleague life cycleManaging the HR administration tasks, including contracting, systems set up, and updating colleague filesCreating programmes to foster a positive work environment for every single employeeWhat We need from you:
Experience in Human Resources, or a management role within a hotelKnowledge of Australian Fair Work regulations, Modern Awards, an understanding of the Hospitality Industry General Award preferableAbility to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines, demonstrating accuracy in all workProven ability to flex and adapt to varying situations, problem solvingWe are looking for someone who recognises that culture is key – with the drive to create an enabling and empowering environment that brings the best out of our team.
