Mallee District Aboriginal Services – Mildura VIC The Human Resources Manager (HRM) will lead a dynamic HR team to deliver timely HR support/advice andrecruitment to the organization, the (SHRM) will work collaboratively with the Executive Director ServiceDelivery to develop a human resource management plan to enable accurate forecasting of the organisationsstaffing needs and trends.The (HRM) will provide HR advice and support to all managers across MDAS to deliver operational,administrative and transactional human resources advice and guidance to ensure the consistent delivery andensure a safe, productive and empowering workplace.This position will lead a team to help the organisation to minimise risk, develop operational excellence in HRServices and coach managers in people management capability.Oversee all facets of Human Resources including:• Recruitment, setting of KPIs for recruitment and ensure HR system is being utilised effectively;• Lead your team to support Managers with selection and retention of staff;• Support leadership in performance management;• Ensure all HR policies and procedure are aligned to legislation collaboratively with Quality team;•Work collaboratively with Learning & Development Manager;• Provide monthly HR reports.• Industrial Relations matters.• Work Cover.• Promoting MDAS's reputation as "the employer of choice".Key Selection Criteria:•Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, the specialrequirements and LORE of Aboriginal people. Demonstrated ability to integrateAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural experiences, philosophy, and practice.•Demonstrated client-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy andinterest in their needs. Ability to use initiative and develop innovative solutions.•Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbalcommunication. Ability to communicate, consult, liaise, and negotiate with a broadrange of people both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal, at all levels to achieve programobjectives and goals.•Ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail.• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to report against and monitor own performance towards set KPI's and program objectives.•High level leadership, management and change management skills. Experience with payroll and HR policies, practices and procedures.
