Spanos Retail Group owns and manages a number of different companies operating under the Spanos IGA, celebrations and Valleybake brand. This role is based at our head office at Ashmore, with on-site parking available.
We are looking for a passionate, experienced HR Manager to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to provide quality service and support to our retail businesses.
Duties & Responsibilities:Establishment and continuous improvement of the HR function, with a focus on workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding and induction, remuneration and recognition, performance management, employee relations, and employee well-being.Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and values.Provide appropriate advice and guidance on HR matters to managers and employees to maximise organisational performance and foster a positive working environment.Foster a psychologically safe work environment, promoting a culture where all staff feel safe to speak up.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Execute the annual remuneration and performance review processes end-to-end.Create and manage employee development programs to support career growth and skill development.Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and high levels of employee satisfaction.Develop and prepare HR-related documentation.Coordinate training and development programs.Maintain and manage HR records and employee databases.Provide support in implementing well-being and other HR initiatives.Develop clear policies and ensuring policy awareness and understanding.Ensure complete confidentiality is always maintained throughout the organisation for all people and culture matters where applicable.Support performance management by assisting with goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.Support in payroll.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Well-developed knowledge and experience of contemporary HR procedures and practices.5+ years of broad generalist HR experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to interact proactively with all levels of the organization.Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Effective in contributing to a small team and maintaining confidentiality.Ability to develop and implement HR programs.Takes responsibility for tasks from inception to completion.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong time management and planning skills.Strategic thinking.Problem analysis and problem-solving.Team-leadership.What's on Offer:Monday – Friday, working from the office.Friendly, professional work environment.We are an equal opportunity employer; our team is diverse, and we expect it to become more diverse! #J-18808-Ljbffr
