Deliver a sustainable future with WA's landmark urea project! Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
We are looking for an experienced Site HR Business Partner to join the Project Ceres team on site in Karratha. Reporting to the Project Human Resources Manager, this position offers ownership of the full life cycle of the project, transactional HR matters specific to the project, including employee and industrial relations advice and collaboration with the broader Corporate HR team.
In this busy and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with your internal and external stakeholders including the project team, business, and client to achieve deadlines and deliver the best outcomes. While this role will initially begin in the Perth office, it will transition to a FIFO position as the project ramps up, on a 20:8 roster.

Providing high level advice and assistance to key stakeholders in line with human resource policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Acting as a first point of contact for escalation and resolution for HR queries, issues and requests from internal and external stakeholders. Providing advice and conducting employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues. Coaching and assisting line managers in the performance management process. Providing general coaching and advice to employees and leaders on ER/IR matters as required. Implementing and facilitating workforce planning processes to support mobilisation, demobilisation, and redeployment processes. Advising managers and administering processes related to role changes, remuneration and benefits, promotions, and related activities. Developing reports and data analysis across a range of HR metrics. Supporting activities undertaken by the recruitment and mobilisation teams to ensure an efficient and effective process. Assisting in rolling out corporate initiatives, activities, and programs to the project teams. What you will bring to the team: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or relevant field desirable. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a general Human Resources role. Prior experience working onsite in the resources sector is essential. Demonstrated stakeholder management experience. High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and develop solutions to meet business needs. Demonstrated experience in applying knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies, procedures, and best practice. Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Solid experience in performance management, case management and complex workplace investigations. Confidence to speak with authority to technical experts and provide sound fact-based leadership on Human Resources and related issues. Passion for HR, driving cultural change, learning and building your HR career, building strong working relationships with leaders onsite and providing agile support.
