We have a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resource Advisor to join us at our Caval Ridge Project in Moranbah. This will be a key role at site that will partner with our stakeholders and managers and provide support to the project.This role will work on a Monday - Friday roster with one week on site and one week from the Mackay or Brisbane office.Key Responsibilities and RequirementsThe primary functions of this role will see you:Working autonomously on site, as the day to day point of contact for all HR related queries and matters.Leading complex investigations, and supporting with Enterprise Agreement Negotiations.Providing advice, training, coaching and support to site operational teams in relation to the entire employee lifecycle including remuneration, employee engagement, policies, procedures, learning and development, employee relations and performance management.Providing expertise regarding conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, disputes and investigations.Supporting the wider Queensland HR team in the delivery of all aspects of HR and IR activities for the Project.Supporting in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective people strategies and initiatives.Supporting and collaborating on community, diversity and inclusion initiatives for the Project.Working closely with and providing support to the Human Resources Manager.Promoting a values-based approach to HR at the Project.Your key skills and qualificationsWe are ideally seeking candidates with the following:Ability to multi-task and manage high volume workloads.Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.Human resources experience in a mining or heavy industry environment, desirable.Strong computer skills including an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office package.What Thiess can do for youMonday - Friday roster with one week on site and one week from the Mackay or Brisbane office.Eligible for Annual Remuneration Review and Discretionary Bonus.Full camp accommodation or local living allowance provided.Thiess' commitment to ongoing training & development.Health & wellbeing rewards program through AIA Vitality.Salary continuance insurance.Salary sacrifice options – Novated leasing and superannuation.Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.This role is an opportunity to take the next step in your career.
