Details of the offer

Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)
We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer (CTO) of Omegro (www.omegro.com), part of the Volaris Group, this role will provide Human Resource consulting support to our Executive team and Merger and Acquisition (M&A) team, which are located across Australia, Europe, and Canada.
These values are important to us:
Growth mindset . We listen, learn and seek to improve.
Bias for action . We execute quickly, experiment & adapt. We do something rather than default to inaction.
Smart, humble and hungry . We work without ego, share credit and define success collectively. We are intrinsically motivated, diligent, and strongly desire to do more.
Tenacious & resilient . We are comfortable with ambiguity, recover from setbacks and learn our lessons. We value success over the long term.
Proud of our actions . We work hard, treat others well and continuously learn.
What is unique about the role/Company?
You will get the opportunity to work in a close-knit team with lots of support and attention, so the learning will be second to none.
Our culture and environment is fun, down-to-earth and inclusive, and every role is important so you can make your mark.
You'll not only get the opportunity to make a pivotal contribution to the way we run our business locally, but you'll also be able to navigate your future career within the wider Volaris Group globally, and have opportunities to travel and attend learning conferences domestically and internationally.
This role can be performed fairly flexibly and remotely, however, there is an office in Fortitude Valley and a team of HR professionals that work close by that can provide additional support and connection.
The Role
Support our CTO and Mergers and Acquisitions team on a range of HR projects and initiatives for the businesses.
Partner with leaders to review employee relations, career pathways and development, performance management, resourcing and team management.
Undertake and manage the HR administration of starters, leavers and contractual changes, including preparing documentation and references for the Executive and M&A teams, across three Omegro entities that are based in Australia, Europe and Canada.
Organise and coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, and update records on our HRIS.
Coordinate recruitment activities to find great global talent for our team.
Be the first point of contact for our team regarding all employee relations matters, and provide advice and guidance per company policies and procedures, employment law, and best practices.
Deliver training sessions to our team through structured training programs (e.g. high performer and leadership training programs), as well as coaching and informal training and development activities, as needed.
Where appropriate, coordinate external and internal training for team members.
Assist in the running and management of our Engagement Survey, and liaise with leaders to prepare and implement action plans.
Be the key user of our HRIS system, Workday. Although this position is supported by an HRIS specialist team, the role will require preparing reports, identifying key trends, talent mapping, and reviewing compensation information.
The ability to travel domestically and internationally is important, as well as having a flexible approach to structuring your working hours at times that suit you, while being aware that at times this will involve virtually meeting with other team members based in different time zones across Europe, Canada and Australia.
