There is an ability to work remotely at times.Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and support on human resource matters including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and WHS compliance.Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, aligning hires with Council's strategic direction.Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.Manage HR projects such as enterprise bargaining and organisational restructures.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for Council's interests in people-related matters.About You: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employee relations.Ability to case manage complex HR issues, including disputes and third-party adjudications.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in negotiating and producing concise, accurate reports.Experience in local government or a similar environment is preferred, though not essential.Requirements: Degree in Human Resources or related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.Current driver's licence and commitment to maintaining it.How to Apply: This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking council dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture.
