The role This is a key role within the Product Management Team, accountable for overseeing the creation of product disclosures for new propositions and managing these products throughout their lifecycle. The individual will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance while driving strategic initiatives to enhance and adapt these offerings in line with market trends and customer needs. The role also requires close collaboration with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives.
This is a full-time position located in Sydney. Key responsibilities: Disclosure Documents – Production and Ongoing Maintenance Lead the development and continuous update of content for disclosure documents, ensuring alignment with new product features, regulatory changes, and evolving legislation. Ensure business readiness for product launches, including the development and delivery of training materials. Product Implementation and Continuous Improvement Collaborate with the Product Development Team to drive key initiatives, including providing input into business requirements and product design. Identify, prioritize, and manage continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product offerings and operational processes. Champion business readiness efforts, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and training to execute new products and features. Sales Support Ensure the successful delivery of new products and associated offer documents, aligning with strategic business outcomes. Provide ongoing sales support, which may include: Addressing and resolving product-related queries. Contributing to submissions to support new business opportunities. Key requirements A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, with a strong focus on managing IDPS, Super and Unregistered Managed Investment Schemes and Non-Custodial administration platforms. In-depth knowledge of the legislative and technical rules that govern IDPS, Super and Unregistered Managed Investment Schemes. Proven experience in leading the creation and ongoing updates of content for disclosure documents, ensuring alignment with new product features, regulatory changes, and evolving legislation. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, with the ability to foster collaboration across multiple teams and external partners. Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
