RAC has been a resource, service provider and enabler of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Greater Shepparton region since 1980. RAC is a cooperative working to provide a range of supports and services including:
Health and wellbeing Positive aging and disability services Community services Asset and infrastructure services Corporate services RAC has an annual budget of $19 million and a workforce of approximately 230 people. Role Purpose: Are you passionate about creating meaningful change and supporting professional growth? At Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative (RAC), we're looking for a dedicated Workforce Development Officer (WDO) to lead dynamic learning and development programs that empower both our staff and Community members. In this role, you'll have the chance to make a real impact, supporting culturally relevant training initiatives aligned with our Strategic Plan, and fostering the growth of those around you.

•Experience supporting students with their educational goals.
•A background in Training & Development, Education, Administration, or related fields.
•A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and the ability to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
•A passion for Cultural Competency and Anti-Racism Training.
•Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively.
•Event planning and workforce development experience (preferred).
What We Offer:
•Competitive pay and conditions – ACCHS Award, Grade 6 Level 1-4: $36 to $39 (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience).
