This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.
It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role: To ensure that FGJV maintains a healthy and safe working environment for all personnel, in accordance with FGJV Management system expectations, operating standards, and HSSE management manual, statutory requirements, and client specifications.
Qualifications: Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety (an advantage).
Cert IV in Business Administration or similar.
Experience: Minimum 2 years OHS experience is preferred.
Experience working in HSE Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry Required Competencies: Strong Initiative and proactive nature Key collaborative skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Well-developed time management skills High attention to detail Genuine commitment and proactive approach to site safety processes and practices Confident decision-making ability Excellent report writing skills Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Incident Event Database Management KPI Reporting Assist the HSSE Team (Advisors / Coordinators / Managers) in day-to-day activities.
Maintain the Project HSSE Event Database overseeing quality of data entry.
Administer accounts and services for the HSE Department and procurement of equipment.
Administer supply and issue of office-based equipment for the HSSE Team.
Collate and develop periodic HSSE Performance Reports and presentations (FGJV, Board Meeting).
Assist in the preparation of statistical and administrative information for pre-qualification and tender purposes Assist in the coordination of HSSE training courses / workshops / meetings for site.
Assist in the coordination of HSSE & Wellbeing initiatives throughout the year.
Provide administrative support to Emergency Response teams as required.
Audit of and replenishment of Major Incident Rooms Tools and Equipment.
Ensure completion of incident reports, updating of incident register and communication of investigation findings.
Actively support in the delivery and promotion of a Target Zero culture across the workplace.
Correlate incident event data.
Maintain electronic & hard copy filing system.
Collation of site weekly HSE reports into a master register and issuance of the weekly and monthly reports.
Maintain document control requirements for HSSE documentation.
Establish and maintain HSSE registers, data bases and statistical data entry.
Ensure the efficient distribution of internal and external HSSE alerts, as directed by the HSSE Manager.
Assist in the compilation of records and documents to support external reporting.
Additional Administrative duties as required.
