Your role will include a strong focus on the health and safety of all employees and third parties impacted by work activities within your area of responsibility, as well as:
Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standardsFostering a culture of continuous learning regarding health, safety, and environmental practices, supporting audits and compliance with changing regulationsMonitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance metrics to identify areas for improvementKeeping abreast of industry trends and legislative changesThe Criteria Over 3 years of experience in a similar Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)/Work Health and Safety (WHS)/Health and Safety Representative (HSR) roleA relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, with at least a Certificate IV in OHSA current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are essentialStrong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externallyProficient administrative and computer skills, including expertise in MS OfficePlease call Tara Stokes @ GOUGH on 0419 280 999 or simply hit APPLY NOW.
